We are currently building new infrastructure that will see Warkworth’s wastewater treated at a new treatment plant in Snells Beach. This new wastewater servicing scheme is expected to be operational in mid to late 2025. Any new resource consents granted in the meantime will have a condition that means no connection can be made to our wastewater services until our new Warkworth wastewater scheme is operational.   • We can’t guarantee a wastewater connection for your development right now, as the Army Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant has limited capacity and needs to be upgraded. While an upgrade is scheduled to be completed in 2031, we hope to deliver an alternative upgrade earlier. You can learn more here.
